about

This blog and the domain it is hosted on have become my place to let thoughts manifest, and to post my interpretation of a variety of topics ranging from societal and geopolitical issues to warfare and military occupation, as well as ranging from personal relationships to the pursuit of happiness. I use this blog as a medium through which I can convey my interpretation of reality as I continually pursue some of the world’s most elusive facets.

I originally created aphoric.net as a place where I could express myself, not realizing how it would become the one place where I could most thoroughly express myself. When registering the domain, I decided to name it “aphoric,” from the word roots “a-” (without) and “phorous” (bearing [weight]). It is aptly named as this is one place that I can represent myself aphorically, without any burden to tether or restrain me.

One might think it strange not to describe myself- the site’s author- on this page, perhaps mentioning my background, education, or interests. Perhaps it would be somewhat useful to have the dry details about me, the quantifiables without context or substance. For numerous reasons, I am leaving my basic personal details off this page, however if you should need to inquire on any details for any reason, feel free to contact me.
